STONEWALL-Services for Josie Jeanne Elmore, 52, Stonewall, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, J. R. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Sasakwa.
Mrs. Elmore died Friday, November 27, 2009 at her home. She was born March 20, 1957 at Ada, Oklahoma to Joel Henry and Elsie Mae Walker Lindsey. She graduated from Latta High School.
She married Stephen Lee Elmore on May 5, 1991 in Sherman, Texas. Mrs. Elmore was a certified nurse assistant and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Elmore, of the home; a daughter, Shannon Prentice, Allen; four sons, Shawn Holland, Ada, Shane Holland, Ada, D. J. Fuller, Ada, and Brandon Elmore, of the home; ten grandchildren, Marissa, Kennedy, Payton and Madison Prentice; Paige and Devon Holland; Bryce Holland and Mary Studeville; and T. J. and Olivia Fuller; four sisters, Louise Wolf, Norman, Virginia Moreland, Dewey, Wanda Harjo, Sasakwa; and Shirley Collinsworth, Sasakwa; two brothers, Sonny Lindsey, Sasakwa and Jesse Lindsey, Ada.
Bearers will be Tommy Byrd, Shane Holland, Sammy Wilson, David Wyche, Paul Prentice and Kallo Hill.
