JOSIE CHRISTIAN

ADA-Services for Josie Lynn Christian, 61, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Mayhue officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Christian died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1948, to Robert J. and Bessie O. Scates Bryant at Ada. She had lived in the Ada area most of her life. She graduated from Latta High School and attended East Central University. She was a homemaker and a provider for special needs people for over ten years. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She attended H2O Church.

She and Eddie Christian were married Nov. 2, 1972, in Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie, of the home; two sons, Chris Christian, Ada, and Zac Christian and wife Callie, Ada; a daughter, Holly Christian and her fiance' Josh O'Neal; four grandchildren, Caleb Christian, Austin Britton, Ayden Christian and Cate Christian; one sister, Jerry Henley, Ada; one brother, David Bryant and wife Judy, Ada; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Don Bryant; two brothers-in-law, Bob Henley and James Christian; and mother-in-law, Marie Christian.

Bearers David Bryant, Dirk Bryant, Bob Bryant, Pete Bryant, Scott Bryant, Josh Bryant, Caleb Christian, Cheyenne Christian, and Jason Christian.
