Josh passed from this life on Monday, August 30, 2010, in Konawa. He was born June 22, 1993, in Ada to David John and Teresa Lynn McKee McDermott. He attended Konawa school.

Survivors include his parents, Dave and Teresa McDermott, Konawa; grandfather, Alvin Clamp, Tennessee; Uncles, Marty McKee, Okemah; Brad McDermott, Atoka; and Shane McDermott, Quincy, Illinois; aunt, Brandy Rogers, Texas; and cousins, Michael Miller, Marina McKee, Merrick McKee, Bradley McDermott, Paul McDermott, Christopher McDermott and Courtney McDermott. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a cousin, Monica Countryman.
