ADA-Services for Joshua Creed Kelley Phillips, 18, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church, Revs. Roger Rounsaville and Thomas Bauer will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng.

Joshua died Sunday, November 29, 2009 in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born August 26, 1991 at Ada, Oklahoma to Sean Richard Phillips and Lisa Marie Kelley. He lived in this area all his life and was a senior at Byng High School. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Byng.

Survivors include his mother, Lisa Townsend and step-father, Raymond Townsend, of the home; his father, Sean Phillips, Stonewall; a brother, James Townsend, of the home; his grandmothers, Jennifer Kelley, Ada , Sheila Phillips, Stonewall, and Tawana Townsend, Byng; grandfathers, Bobby Sweet, Byng and Wesley Townsend, California; five uncles, Michael Phillips, Stonewall, John Kelley, Ada, Jess Kelley, Jason Kelley, Ada and Eric Townsend, Las Vegas, Nevada; and a great grandmother, Bessie Coplen, Sulphur.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Stanley Kelley.

Bearers will be Auston Claborn, Corey Black, Jesse Coplen, Tony Sojo, Jerry Smith and Donavan Terry.
