JOSEPH TAYLOR
ADA-Services for Joseph John Taylor, 61, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Toney Buck will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born September 6, 1947 at Round Park, Wyoming to Loring and Clara M. Ward Taylor. He attended grade school at Antlers and moved to Ada in 1990 from Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Taylor was a laborer in the manufacturing industry and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Antlers. Mr. Taylor loved to sing gospel music, loved the outdoors, sports, and traveling.
Survivors include three sisters, Alice Taylor, Ada, Julia Pendleton, Ada, and Mary Blue, Broken Arrow; a brother, Keith Taylor, Ada; a niece, Lauren Taylor, Oklahoma City; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loring and Clara Taylor, and three siblings.
