JOE REED

ADA-Services for Joseph Clark Reed, 46, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Pat Kilby and Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Reed died Monday, December 15, 2008 at his home. He was born November 7, 1962 at Ada, Oklahoma to Roy and Doris Ann Mann Reed. He attended Ahloso grade school and graduated from Stonewall High School. He graduated from Okmulgee Tech with a degree in diesel mechanics.

He married Laura Johnson on April 5, 1985. Mr. Reed was a welder for Sherrell Steel in Ada. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Reed, of the home; a son, Steven Reed, of the home; a daughter, Amanda Reed, Ada; his mother, Ann Reed, Ada; two brothers, his twin brother, Mark Reed and wife Brenda, Ada, and Jeff Reed and wife Judy, Ada; a sister, Kim Ring and husband Billy, Stratford; two grandchildren, Ashton and Acean Anderson; an uncle, Donnie Mann, Stigler; two aunts, Martha Hall, Ada, and Miggie Flatt, Ada; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Sammie Johnson, Ada; sister-in-law, Jana Young and husband Clay, Ada, and Karen Crockett and husband Mark, Denton, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Reed.

Bearers will be Chuck Holland, Billy Ring, D. E. Sherrell, Ryan Lynch, Clay Young, and Mark Crockett. Honorary bearers will be Wendell Sherrell, Ron Hall, Donnie Mann, Troy Don Mann, Wendell Bruce Mann, and Larry Mann.
