Jose Anchondo
Services for Jose E. Anchondo, 74, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Anchondo passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at an Ada hospital. He was born October 16, 1941 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He attended grade school and high school and graduated from high school in San Pedro, CA.
Mr. Anchondo was a press operator for J. P. Emco and had served in the U. S. Army. He was honorably discharged February 28, 1970 as a Private First Class.
Survivors include a son, Joe Johnson and wife Tina of Ada; two grandsons, Chase Johnson and Jay Johnson; and a granddaughter, Triston Johnson; two brothers, Virgilo Diaz and Agustin Diaz; nine cousins; and two aunts.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, and an aunt, Celia Diaz who reared him.
Bearers will be Chase Johnson, Jay Johnson, Richard Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Claudia Guerrero and Adriana Guerrero.
