JOHNNY BURNES
ADA-Services for Johnny Clifford Burnes, 65, Ada, are 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Burnes died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1944 at Ada, Oklahoma to Leo and Virginia Faye Allen Burnes. He attended Ada schools and was a retired laborer.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Sliger and husband Jeff, Konawa; a son, Woody Burnes, Harrah; two sisters, Linda Lewis and husband David, Ada, and Karen McGuire and husband Shane, Ada; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Burnes, a daughter, Teresa Ott, a brother, Billy Burnes, and his parents.
