JOHNNY BROWN, SR.
ADA-Services for Johnny Welborn Brown, Sr., 60, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Reaper Baptist Church, Elder Charles Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Flat Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Monday, February 15, 2010 at his home. He was born January 19, 1950 at Ada, Oklahoma to Eddie and Hattie Franklin Brown. He lived in the Ada area all his life and graduated from Byng High School.
Mr. Brown was employed at Camrose Mfg. as a forklift operator and later Ideal Cement Company where he retired.
Survivors include one daughter, Shawn Davis, Ada; three sons, John Robert Brown, Ada, Johnny (J.W.) Brown, Ada, and Eddie Brown, Ada; two sisters, Maggie Luckey, Ada, and Ellen Henderson, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Joe Brown, Madison Brown, Donavon Brown, LeBron Davis, Bryson Davis, Morgan Davis, Elijah Brown and Klynn Brown; a special friend, Regina Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Nathaniel, Floyd, Richard, Perry and Houston; and two sisters, Dorothy and Vashti.
Bearers will be Anothy Luckey, Pat Barber, Marcus Henderson, Nathaniel Blakely, James Brown, Terry Luckey, Preston Brown and Tony Nelson. Honorary bearers will be Glen Shelton, Paul Watson, Alex Clark, Lester Albert and Harvey Gray. Flower bearers will be his nieces, Christine Blakley, Kathy Henderson, Michelle Sparks, Linda Nelson, Donna Louie, Charlesetta Sparks, and Jennifer Blakley.
