Johnnie Wagner

Services for Johnnie Wayne Wagner, 79, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Graves will officiate. A Committal Service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Yukon Cemetery.

Mr. Wagner passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Ballard's Care Center. He was born February 1, 1939 at Banner, OK to Winston Cecil and Neatha Leah Watson Wagner. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1957. He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 – 1960 in Germany. He spent two years in Israel training Aero Commander personnel.

He married Carol Jean Lamb Hyde September 14, 2014. Mr. Wagner worked at T & G Marble business in Yukon before coming to Ada in 1975. He then started a business building fiberglass boats, later storm shelters and water slides. He started Windy Waters in 1982. He later went into the oil business with Carl Baxter.

Mr. Wagner enjoyed hunting and fishing and cruising. He enjoyed travelling to Alaska and several times to the Caribbean and Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, of the home; a son, Chad Wagner and wife Valerie of Yukon; daughters, Kasi Bailey of Houston, TX, Christy Pedigo of Oklahoma City and Shelby Cypert of Kansas; a step-daughter, Donna Burns of Ada; a sister, Margaret Dundas of Yukon; uncle, Jim Wagner of Yukon; a granddaughter, Ashley (Preston) Gray of Shawnee; grandsons, Cole Wagner and Cameron Wagner of Yukon; two great-grandsons, Boone and Hank Gray of Shawnee; his nephews, David, Aaron, Greg and Darren ; a niece, Tonya Fowler; and cousins, Glenda Richardson of Wichita and Tim Wagner and Wayne Wagner, Yukon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Susie; brother, Bobby and his wife Sandra.
