ADA-Services for Johnnie Patrick Rhodd, 71, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Rhodd died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1939 at Tonkawa, Oklahoma to Henery Elmo and Mary Lucille Sandford Rhodd.
He married Pamela Dianne Duncan on September 4, 1972. He and his family moved to Ada in 1996 from Ponca City. Mr. Rhodd was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Brown and Roots until retiring in 1989. Mr. Rhodd was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Rhodd, of the home; daughters, Amy Brown, Ponca City, Rebecca Jennings, Attleboro, MA, Melissa Dawn Rhodd, Stillwater, and Christi Dianne Rhodd, Blackwell; a sister-in-law, Sandra Harless, Tulsa; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Duncan, Tulsa, and Alex Frye and wife Linda Frye; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Marvin Maupix, Bob Martin, Bill Walker, Alex Frye, Merle Burns, Kenneth Duncan, Chad Castleberry, and Jeff McDonald.
