JOHNNIE MAE PLATT
ADA-Services for Johnnie Mae Platt, 98, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Temple Diehl will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Platt died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born March 24, 1914 at Hickory, Oklahoma to John and Sally Graham. She graduated from Ada High School.
She married Earl Platt on May 2, 1936. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2012. Mrs. Platt was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, David Platt and his wife Charlotte of Ada; a daughter, Nancy Goodell and husband Forrest of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Cheri Busse and husband, MSGT Roger Busse, Deanna Ross and husband Andy, Amy Holland and husband Bert, and Lori Jordan and husband Randy; her great grandchildren, Kari Busse, Cody Hickman, Melissa Trevino, and Skylar Frady; her step-great grandchildren, Amanda Ross, Rachael Ross, Makena Holland, Bryce Holland and Colby Jordan.
Bearers will be David Platt, Forrest Goodell, MSGT Roger Busse, Bert Holland, Randy Jordan and Cody Hickman.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Asbury United Methodist Church, 508 W. 6th, Ada, OK 74820.
