Graveside services for Johnnie Lester Long, 76, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mrs. Carla Dyer will be officiating.

Mr. Long died Monday, September 21, 2026, at his home. He was born, August 7, 1950, to Johnny Harold and Ida Fern Nichols Long.

He married Barbara Kirby on August 29, 1970. Mr. Long served in the U. S. Air Force spending over 50 years in Altus, OK through the military and civil service, including being a fire truck mechanic at Altus Air Force Base.

Mr. Long loved classic cars, fishing and enjoyed being active.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Long, of the home; daughter, Shelly Long of Denton, TX; two brothers, Steve Long and wife Karen of Wilburton, OK and Jeff Long and wife Linda of Ada, OK; sister, Connie Shropshire of Piedmont, OK; sister-in-law, Brenda Kirby of Ada, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
