JOHNNIE ROSS JOHNSON
SASAKWA-A Memorial Service celebrating Johnnie's life will be held starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 on the Johnson Farm, Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Friends are invited to come join in the celebration.
Mr. Johnson died Monday, September 26, 2011 at his home. He was born November 24, 1934 at Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Lonnie Ray and Edith Mae Watson Johnson. He went to school and graduated from Sasakwa High School.
Mr. Johnson worked in the oil fields in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Montana. After retiring he moved back to the family farm and ranched.
He is survived by three grandchildren, Mikka, Josh, and Jarod; two sisters, Thelma Lois Webster and her husband Rawleigh of Enid, and Gilson Ruth Morris and her husband Harold of Purcell; nieces, Taunya, Debbie, Pam, Alica, and Lanie; and nephews, Randy, Mike, Lonnie, Danny, Joel, Dennis and Donald and their families.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Juli Ann Ronan; his parents; two brothers, Floyd Ray Johnson and Charles Lee Johnson; an infant sister, Barbara Alene Johnson; and a nephew, Phillip Martley.
