Johnnie Hawkins
Ada-Graveside services for Johnnie Lewis Hawkins, II, 42, of Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Abney Cemetery near Stratford, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate.
Mr. Hawkins died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Ada. He was born August 31, 1972 in Ada to Johnnie Lewis and Frances Deann Hampton Hawkins. He attended Vanoss School.
He was formerly employeed by the Chickasaw Nation.
Survivors include two daughters, Gabrielle "Beattle" McCormick and Katelin Hawkins, Ada; children's mother, Sara Sutton, Ada; father, Johnnie Hawkins, Tupelo; mothers, Frances Kukar, Ada and Shar Hawkins, Stratford; one sister, Amber Donnell, Ada, one brother, Jesse Hawkins, Tupelo; special cousin, Traci Jiminez, Ada; close friend, Lisa Van Buskirk, Ada; special nieces, Elizabeth and Abbey Hill, Ada; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and an aunt, Sandra Clifford.
Bearers will be Jesse Hawkins, Bryan Hill, David Jones, Greg Cozad, Dan Sampson, Derrick "Double D" Poole and John Linebarger.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to a trust fund, for his daughter's education, at Citizens Bank.
