Obituary

Johnnie Hancock

Johnnie Earlene Flowers Hancock, 80, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home on November 20, 2024.

Born to Leon Khan Flowers and Iva Lee Sparks Flowers on March 28, 1944, in Ada, Oklahoma, Johnnie lived a full life filled with love and lots of laughter.  She was a devoted wife to Kenneth Hancock for 54 years, a loving mother to Wayne Hancock (Wife Amy Hancock) and Johna Ward (Husband Matt Ward). She was a cherished grandmother to Jordan Hancock and Blake Hancock.  She is survived by her youngest brother Charles Leon Flowers and preceded in death by her eldest brother James Franklin Flowers.

There are not enough words to describe Johnnie.  Everyone who met her instantly fell in love with her loving spirit and ornery nature.  She had an amazing way of making you feel loved, valued and at ease.  She adored her family and friends and passionately served Jesus!  She attended Crosspointe Church for over 38 years.

A funeral service, presided by Chad Large will be held at Crosspointe Church in Ada, Oklahoma, on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma.
