John Stringer

Services for John Henry Stringer, 81, of Konawa, are 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2026, at Roff First Baptist Church; Rev. B.C. Strickland will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Stringer passed away Monday, October 19, 2026, in Oklahoma City. He was born October 27, 1944, in Jesse, to Joe and Mary Wheeler Stringer.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of the home; two sons, Jason Stringer and wife, Denae, of Roff, and Dale Stringer, of Allen; daughter, Cindy Smith and husband, Michael, of Wolf; sister, Netha Gambrell, of Ada; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Stringer; five brothers, James Stringer, Walter Stringer, Melvin Stringer, Delbert Stringer, and William Edward Stringer; two sisters, Lily Mae Morrison and Ellen Daniels.
