JOHN CRANE
ADA-Services for John Oliver "Paco" Crane, 62, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.
Mr. Crane died Monday, January 10, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born November 16, 1948 at Ada, Oklahoma to Vernon and Nita Martin Crane. He graduated from Vanoss High School.
He married Gayle Self. Mr. Crane was a Supervisor of the Control Room at Ideal Cement, a longtime member of the Bass Pro Association, past president and member of the union at Ideal Cement and an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Crane; a son, John Crane, Jr., Mexico City, Mexico; a daughter, Misty Crane, of the home; a brother, Clyde Crane and family, Boca Raton, Florida; one sister, Joyce Martin and family, Burbank, Oklahoma; a great aunt, Clara Sliger, Turlock, California; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Jamie Smith and Toby Aldridge.
Bearers will be Danny Self, Roger Self, Jerry Yarberry, Jr., Jerry Yarberry III, Josh Self, and Steve McWilliams. Honorary bearer will be Randy Scull.
