JOHN CANNADY
DECATUR, TX-Services for John Jasper Cannady, 61, of Decatur, TX, are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Citra Cemetery near Allen, Oklahoma.
Mr. Cannady died Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He was born April 9, 1952 in Long Beach, California to Lloyd John and Murl Lee Royer Cannady. He graduated from Allen, and attended the Okmulgee Technology Center.
Mr. Cannady was self-employed. He was of the Baptist faith
Survivors include three daughters, April Cannady-Hunter of Allen, Celestial Cannady-Sweet of Ada, Alexandra Cannady of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, John C.E. Cannady of Byng; Four sisters, Brenda Branscum of Ada, Gwenda Harden of Ada, Terry Littlefied of Byng, Tawni Sanders of Byng; two brothers, Ed Cannady of Idaho, and Mark Cannady of Bartlesville; six grandchildren, Cassara Harris, Savannah Harris, Dawson Harris, Jordyn Borges, Sheyenne Sweet, Samuel Sweet, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Linda Luttrell and a niece Jennifer Campbell.
Bearers are John C.E. Cannady, Rusty Youngblood, Johnny Harris, Eric Atkinson, Sam Sweet and Dawson Harris. Honorary bearers are Conjot Harjo and Johnny Fritz.
