Obituary

JOHN BAUCH

ADA-Services for Rev. John Henry Bauch, 74, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Raymond Brady will officiate. A Committal Service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Colony Cemetery near Alba, Texas.

Rev. Bauch died Monday, August 25, 2008 at his home. He was born October 30, 1933 at Sparks, Nebraska to William and Mary Kuhl Bauch. He attended school in Sparks, Nebraska.

He married Margie Lou Pogue on June 21, 1957. He and his family moved to Ada in 1978 from Moore, Oklahoma. Rev. Bauch was part owner in Theissen and Wilson Tires (T & W Tires) in Ada. He was a member of Sunshine Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as pastor for over 25 years. He was a Past Worshipful Master of the Ada Lodge #119 AF & AM and had served in the U. S. Army from March 1, 1955 until February 28, 1957.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Bauch, of the home; a daughter, Delinda Garrett and husband Jerry, Ada; a son, Paul Bauch, Ada; two brothers, August Bauch, Palmer, Texas, and Oscar Bauch, Kearney, Nebraska; three sisters, Cathy Bierman, Longmont, Colorado, Shirley Ross, Winner, South Dakota, and Lucille Mitchell, Valentine, Nebraska; and a granddaughter, Allison Garrett, Ada.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Bauch, and Robert Bauch, and two sisters, Dorothy Walker, and Lynn Kappelman.

Bearers will be Jerry Garrett, Richard Wilkerson, Ricky Allen, Michael Trimmer, Mitchell Trimmer, and Pete Krammer. Honorary bearers will be J. L. Green, Jim Silva, Paul Bauch, and Wayne St. Germaine.
