ADA-Services for John Charles Ashley, 59, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rev. Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Stonewall.
Mr. Ashley died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at his home. He was born July 22, 1952 in Coal Camp, Missouri to Richard and Mary Beth Bates Ashley. He graduated from high school in Coal Camp, Missouri.
He married Nadine Ellis on January 21, 1977. She preceded him in death on June 10, 2001. He was a member of the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church and had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include a son, Benjeman Graham Ashley of Ada; a daughter, Carrie Souter and husband Russell of Tulsa; and a grandson, Lomis Souter of Tulsa; one brother; and two sisters.
