JOANN PREWITT
ADA-Services for JoAnn Prewitt, 66, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Toby Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Prewitt died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at a Midwest City hospital. She was born December 20, 1943 at Portland, Oregon to Dillard and Ella Joy Tarver Johnson. She and her family moved to Konawa when she was a child. She attended grade school at Wewoka and Konawa and graduated from Vamoosa High School.
Mrs. Prewitt was a homemaker.
Survivors include a husband, Audrie Prewitt, of the home; a son, Paul Stephens, Ada; two sisters, Jeannie Truman (Lyday) and husband Matt, Tulsa, and Denise Berndt (Lyday) and husband Russ, Waukesha, Wisconsin; a brother, Arthur Johnson and wife Sandra, Konawa; nephews and nieces, Aaron Wilkinson and wife Shelley, Tulsa, Niles, Beau and Kyle Johnson, Konawa, Taylor and Allyson Berndt of Wisconsin; and one great nephew, Blake Wilkinson, Tulsa.
She was preceded by her grandmother, Cordia Arnold of Konawa; her mother, Ella Joy Lyday of Konawa, her father, Dillard Johnson; one sister, Sharon Wilkinson (Johnson) of Tulsa; and a step-daughter, Becky Jo Stephens of Konawa.
