ALLEN-Services for JoAnn Lowe, 73, Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Five-Mile Cemetery.
Mrs. Lowe died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at an Allen nursing home. She was born January 28, 1935 at Longdale, Oklahoma to Warren Orlando and Pearl Elve Wright. She graduated from El Centro High School in El Centro, California.
She married Edwin Lee Lowe on April 16, 1973 in California. He died August 25, 2000 in Ada. Mrs. Lowe was a Direct Care House Parent at McCall's Chapel.
Survivors include seven children: Gail Bowling, California, Joy Kinsley, Allen, Dianna Grigsby, California, Johnny Rowland, Oklahoma City, Joan Rowland, Allen, Jody Rowland, and wife Brenda, Ada, and Edward Lowe and wife Melanie, Coalgate; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Wright, California, and Pete Wright, California; and a sister Jerry Wright, Little Rock, AR.
