JOANN LOVE

ADA-Services for Joann Love, 91, of Ponca City, are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Mausoleum at the IOOF Cemetery, Brett Drive and 4 ^th Street in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Bishop Ted Asay will officiate.

Ms. Love died Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Ada. She was born April 30, 1922 in Ponca City to Homer B. and Myrtle DeNoya Love. She lived her entire life in Oklahoma and was proud of her Osage heritage. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Ponca City as well as business college.

Ms. Love was a chemist for Continental Oil during World War II and later, served as the office manager for Livermore Insurance Company for many years.

Survivors include a life-long friend, Thelma J. Davies of Ada; a nephew, Michael Hall and wife Debbie of Dallas, TX; great-nephew, Todd Hall and wife, Deanna Hays and son Michael of Arlington, TX; great-niece, Laura Asay and husband Ted and children Andrew, Catherine and Daniel of Dallas, TX; and many cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marian Love Hall.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Scholarship Fund at St. Mary's School in her name, 415 South 7 ^th Street, Ponca City, OK 74301 (580-765-4387), or to the charity of your choice.
