Graveside services for JoAnn (Younts) Griffin Jones, 68, of Coalgate are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Rosedale Cemetery, Chaplain Louis Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 ^rd at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Jones passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her home. She was born September 16, 1951 in Ada to Jessie Hubert and Dorothy Bernice Sawyer Younts. She graduated from Ada High School. She received an Associate Degree in Conservation/Wildlife Management from Murray State College in Tishomingo; a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science/Legal Studies from East Central University and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources/Rehabilitation Counseling from East Central.

Ms. Jones had worked as a Counselor and also a Cashier at Save-A-Lot Grocery in Ada. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ada.

Survivors include a daughter, Casey Lemons and husband Mike of Coalgate; her grandchildren, Camry Kuykendall and husband Matt, McAlester and Brandon Lemons, Coalgate; and two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Zayde.

She was preceded on death by her parents; a brother, Robert Younts; and sister, Dorothy Pollock.
