JOAN RAMSEY
ADA-Graveside services for Joan Ramsey, 85, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Rosedale Cemetery.
Ms. Ramsey died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born June 27, 1927 in Francis, Oklahoma to A.C. and Myrtle Rogers Edwards. She attended Francis and Byng schools.
Ms. Ramsey was a retired waitress. She had worked at Bob's Bar-B-Q Restaurant, the Indian Hills Restaurant and the Holiday Inn Restaurant in Ada and also previously in Phoenix, Arizona.
Survivors include a son, Monte Law and his wife Susan of Ada; three grandchildren, Charlie Law and wife Tracy of Norman, Jason Fennell and wife Charity of Wynnewood, and Chris Ellis and wife Debi of Moore; six great grandchildren, Sammy and Molly Law, Bryson Sollazzo, Abby Fennell and Parker and Kaylee Ellis; a sister, Charlene Patty of Mayer, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Fennell, two sisters and one brother.
