JOAN JETER
ENID-Graveside services for Joan K. Hill Jeter, 75, Enid, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Jeter died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her home in Hunter, Oklahoma. She was born April 18, 1933 at Non, Oklahoma to George and Fairy Gladys Cozad Keylon. She attended school in California and graduated from high school in Norman. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of nursing as a Registered Nurse.
She married Dr. Wiley P. Jeter, Jr. in 1953. He died September 29, 1999. Mrs. Jeter was a registered nurse at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City and later worked in her husband's office in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Jeter Hisey, Hunter, OK, Elizabeth Ann Jeter, Hunter, OK, and Barbara Fancher, Wichita Falls, TX; one son, Paul Jeter, Plano, TX; one brother, Riley A. Hill, Broken Arrow, OK; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Lloyd Hill.
