JO ANN MCCARTY
ADA-Graveside services for Jo Ann "Annie" McCarty, 78, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City. Rev. Daniel Lovin will officiate.
Mrs. McCarty died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born August 26, 1935 at Talihina, Oklahoma to William "Bill" and Geraldine Cole Lovin. She attended school at Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma.
She married Dalton McCarty. He preceded her in death November 13, 1977. Mrs. McCarty was a billing clerk for J. H. Rose Truck Lines in Oklahoma City until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four brothers, Melvin Lovin of New Mexico, Bill Lovin and wife Marie of Roff, Ted Lovin and wife Joy of Kingston, and Tim Lovin of Oklahoma City; five sisters, Mary Guinn and husband George of Allen, Carolyn Birth and husband Joe of Kingston, Helen Waller of Checotah, Jerry Lovin of Ada and Virginia "Ginger" Stephens and husband Bill of Blanchard; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Glen Lovin and two sisters, Jane and Norma.
