Jimmy Young

Services for Jimmy Lee Young, 72, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Latta. Rev. Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Young passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his home. He was born June 29, 1944 in Oklahoma City to Elmer Wesley and Modena Mae Hammond Young. He graduated from Braggs High School and received an Associate's Degree.

Mr. Young was a Maintenance Supervisor for Flex-N-Gate until his retirement.

Survivors include a brother, Larry Young and wife Nancy of Ada; his soulmate, Armada Deaton of Ada; his nephews, Michael Meredith, Fremont, CA and Rick Myers, Yukon; his nieces, Sharon Shaw, Seminole and Norma Weger, Ada; and many other great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Denna Clark and Shirley Myers; and two brothers, Colin Young and Farrel Young.

Bearers will be Ray Quiett, Frank Kiser, Rick Cranford, Justin Hutching, Shannon White and Ron Davidson.
