Services for Jimmy Joe Wilson, 80, formerly of Coalgate, Ada, and Oklahoma City, are 1:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2024, at High Hill Baptist Church; Rev. Randy Golden will officiate.  Burial will follow at Coalgate Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in Bethany.  He was born March 27, 1943, in Rock Springs, Wyoming to William Riley and Betty J. Bonner Wilson.

Mr. Wilson graduated from Coalgate High School and furthered his education at East Central University earning his Bachelors degree. He was a Regional Administrator for the Department of Defense.  Mr. Wilson served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970 as a Helicopter Pilot where he completed 42 missions.

On February 25, 1967, he married Carol Ann Childers in Coalgate.  He was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.  Mr. Wilson was involved with the Masonic Lodge 32nd Degree (Scotish Rite), Coalgate Lodge 211, and Boy Scouts of America Order of The Arrow.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Wilson, of the home; daughter, Antoinetta C. Hubbard and her husband, Tom, of Mustang; son, Christopher H. Wilson and his wife, Judy; and grandchildren, Antonia Hubbard, Andrew Hubbard, Caden J. Wilson, and Beckett L. Wilson.
