JIMMY TATUM
ADA-Services for Jimmie Lee "Jimmy" Tatum, 64, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Michael Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Egypt Cemetery.
Mr. Tatum died Friday, September 28, 2012 at his home. He was born April 6, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma to Clarence Lee and Ruth Lorene Miller Tatum. He lived in this area all his life and attended Union Valley school.
Mr. Tatum was a welder and sheet metal fabricator.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa, of the home; three sons, Terry Tatum of Ada, Jimmy Tatum Jr. and his wife Susan of Oklahoma City, and Jonathan Ring and his wife Linda of Ada; a sister, Maudi Jones of Ada; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J. T. Tatum; and two sisters, Mary Ruth Smith and Nadine Summers.
Bearers will be Jonathan Ring, Jimmie Tatum Jr., Terry Tatum, Chad Tatum, Samuel White and Jason Payne. Honorary bearers will be Michael Tatum, Jessie Tatum, Cody Tatum and Keith Charley.
