ADA-Services for Jimmy Dale Roden, 51, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Chapel, Bud Ross officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Roden died on Friday, November 9, 2007, at Lexington, Oklahoma. He was born May 29, 1956, at Tulsa, to James and Mary Snow Roden. He lived in this area for five years, moving to Ada from Cleveland, Oklahoma. He graduated from Berry Hill High School. He retired five years ago as a corrections officer, working for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
He married Dewanna Sherrell on January 7, 1985, in Ada.
Survivors include his wife Dewanna, of the home; one daughter, Jamie Sac and her husband Danny, Broken Arrow; two sons, Jason Roden and his wife Kristen, Cleveland, OK; and Travis Roden and his wife Samantha, Tulsa; four granddaughters, Addison Roden, Sophia Roden, Erin Visor and Karlee Sac; his mother, Mary Roden, Berry Hill, Oklahoma; and two brothers, Terry Roden and his wife Dixie, Berry Hill; and Keith Roden, Berry Hill. He was preceded in death by a son, Doug Pester, and his father, James Roden.
Bearers are Mike Freeman, Chris Hice, Wayne Chronister, Lee Haines, Ronnie Daniel and David Tucker.
