JAMES HILTACHK
ADA-Graveside services for James Earl Hiltachk, 71, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 29, at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma, Rev. Rick Austin officiating.
Mr. Hiltachk died Tuesday, February 26, 2008. He was born March 19, 1936, at Rocky Ford, Colorado to Johnnie Cecil and Rose Marie Foster Hiltachk. He attended school in Woodland, California, and came to this area in 1971 from Woodland, California. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps in Korea in the mid 1950's. He retired after 29 years employment from Ideal Cement, now Holnam, as a maintenance technician and was affiliated with the Baptist church.
He married Rita Faye Blankenship on December 3, 1955, in Reno, Nevada. She preceded him in death on April 30, 1995 in Ada.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynn Rich and her husband Jerry, Ada; and Lisa Pierce and her husband Tony, Boswell; six grandchildren, Steven Harless and his wife Lauren, Ada; Amanda Pearce and her husband Richard, Ada; Suzanne Harless, Ada; Laura Westmoreland and her husband Jack David, Boswell; Jennifer McIntosh and her husband Marty, Texarkana, Texas; and Jaime Korzan and her husband Jason, Stratford; great grandchildren, Preston Pearce, Taylor Pearce, and James Daniel Pearce, all of Ada; Kalin Westmoreland, Kadin Westmoreland, Kolby Westmoreland and Emily Westmoreland, all of Boswell; Triston McIntosh, Madelyn McIntosh and Bailee McIntosh, all of Texarkana, Texas; and Jaston Korzan, Jacy Korzan and Jaelee Korzan, all of Stratford; and three brothers, Cecil Hiltachk, of Arizona; Norman Dymond, of Washington, and John Berry, of California.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one brother, Jerry Hiltachk, and a grandson, Kenneth James Harless.
Visitation in Ada will be Thursday until 9:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home and in Boswell at Miller and Miller Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until service time.
