Jimmy Gurley
Services for Jimmy Lee Gurley, 67, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Jimmy Lee passed at his home Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was surrounded by his loving family at his bedside. He was born April 27, 1948 in Ada to Alva Lee and Zella Mae Aday Gurley.
He married the love of his life, Susan Diann Haney on Halloween 1988. They were happily married for over 26 years, and as passionate as the day they met. Jimmy was a salesman for Overhead Door for over 30 years, and served in the U. S. Army from 1966-1968. He was a proud and loving father to his two children.
Survivors include the love of his life, Susan Haney Gurley, of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Gurley Duke of Ada; a son, Shane Michael Gurley and his wife Christi of Prosper, TX; his grandchildren, Dallas Duke, LeShayne Duke, and Addison Gurley; a brother, Gene Gurley and his wife Debbie of Newalla; two very special nephews, Travis Lee and Adam Ray Gurley of Newalla; numerous other nieces and nephews; and a multitude of special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
