Services for Jimmy Dew are Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Life Community Church Ada, Oklahoma Pastors Toby Willoughby and Micky Keith will officiate.  Visitation is Tuesday September 14 2021 from 6:00-8:00 at Criswell Funeral Home

Jimmy Lee Dew was born on August 12 1967 in Paul's Valley Oklahoma to Glenda Burnett Archer.  He passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 54.

He graduated from Vanoss High School in 1985.  he played baseball all 4 of his high school years and was a member of FFA.  He was employed by Blackbeard Operating

He married the love of his life Tammy Shelton on August 16, 1986. They had 2 sons, Dustin Lee Dew and Dakotta Shaine Dew.

Jimmy loved to watch his sons and grand babies play sports and race. He enjoyed spending time on the river with his family, and playing golf with his boys. And playing paintball with his kids and friends. He was a big kid at heart!

He worked in the Oilfield for 40 years. He helped build and worked at Oklahoma Sports Park for 25 years until he retired in 2019 and the past year he enjoyed going back to the racetrack and watching his great nephew Brody Horton race. He was a volunteer firefighter on the Oil Center fire department for 20 years.

He attended A Place of New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 35 years Tammy, of the home; his children, Dustin and Kara Dew and Dakotta and Katie Dew all of Galey, Oklahoma; six Grandbabies, Clara (Princess), Morgan (Kiddo), Addy (Snuggle Bug), Lyla (Sweet Pea), Kameron (Sugar Bear), and Letti (Angel); Mother-in-law Joann Shelton; sisters, Donna McCrary and husband Terry, Denise Haynes and husband Rob Lisa Woodall and husband, Al; numerous Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Glenda and Lindell (Len) Archer; father-in-law, Bobby Shelton; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Shelton; grandparents, Roy (Mandy) and Ida Myrtle Burnett, Sylvia Daniel; and cousin Jerry Lynn Shelton.

Pallbearers are Marty Duncan, Terry Bratcher, David Woods, Roger Thompson, George Welch, and John Woods.  Honorary pallbearers are Dan Gray, Bobby Ross, Jethro Bundy, Sean Lackey, Ricky Shelton, Stanley Lemons, Don Hill, Jeffrey Shelton, Jerry Lynn Shelton.
