Jimmy Dan Ray

Jimmy Dan Ray, 84, of Roff, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born on September 9, 1942, in Roff, OK to Dan Clebourne Ray and Ina Hudson Ray.

Jimmy spent his life in the Roff community, graduating from high school and later working as a loader operator for Unimin. On October 25, 1963, he married the love of his life, Marilyn Tully, with whom he built a full and cherished life of over 62 years of marriage.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Ray, of the home; his son, Jimmy Dan Ray Jr. and his wife Dorothy, and daughter Dana Glover and her husband Regie; his sister, June Huddleston; six grandchildren, Kayla Raychelle Glover, Kalli Brianne Bacon and her husband Shawn, Brockton Day Ray, Beau Marshall Ray, Brig Thomas Ray, and Bryndee Danae Ray; and six great-grandchildren, Ryder Ray Johnson, Kaydence Faye Lopez, Kennadi Brianne Lopez, Keiryn Gray Bacon, Aubree Ella Bacon, and Jericho Journee Tabbytosavit-Ray.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ina Ray; his brothers, J.D. Ray, Marshall Ray, and Gary Ray; and his sisters, Rosemary Yeargan and Flora Vandelinde.

Services will be held at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma Thursday, September 24 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery in Roff, Oklahoma.
