GERTY-Graveside services for Jimmie Columbus Webster, 88, Gerty are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Box Cemetery, near Vian. Pastor Dale Ritter will officiate.

Mr. Webster died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at his home. He was born October 12, 1921 in Vian, Oklahoma to George Washington and Bessie Stout Webster. He came to this area in 1973.

He married Shirley Ellen Mankey on August 24, 1989 at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Webster was a laborer in the construction industry.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Webster, of the home; four sons, Charles Webster and wife Brenda, Gerty, Clarence Webster and wife Lynda, Allen, William Kelley, Carson City, NV, and Douglas Wadzeck and wife Bonnie, Demorest, GA; a daughter, Linda Ann Bristol and husband Mark, Morgan, Hill, CA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a sister, Rose Horn and husband Earl, Coweta; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, two grandsons, six sisters, and four brothers.

Bearers will be Charles Webster, Clarence Webster, Douglas Wadzeck, Zachary Samson, Ryan Samson, and Mark Bristol. Honorary bearers will be Daniel Webster, William Webster and Bo Webster.
