Jim Jackson

Services for James Allen “Jim” Jackson, 81, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Morris Memorial Baptist Church; Rev. Adam Flanagan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Ada. He was born May 31, 1944, in Ada, to A.J. and Lou Ann Scates Jackson.

On December 27, 1968, he married Karrel Sanders. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Holcim Cement Plant until his retirement. Mr. Jackson proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Karrel, of the home; son, Allen Jackson; daughter, Jayme Karrel Murray and husband, Jeff; sister-in-law, Kay Jackson; grandchildren, Gabriella Murray, Jonathon Murray and Makenna, Joshua Murray, and Katie Murray; and great granddaughter, Palmer Jane Murray.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leon Jackson.

Bearers are Keith Walls, Kevin Walls, Kyle Walls, Jeff Murray, Jonathon Murray, and Joshua Murray. Honorary bearers are Lee George, Jacob Harjo, Donnie James, and Ishmal Tatum.
