ADA-Memorial services for Jim Clark Gillispie, 65, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at the Legacy Church, Rev. Scott Miller will officiate.
Mr. Gillispie died Friday, February 19, 2010 at a local nursing home. He was born September 17, 1944 at Wichita Falls, Texas to Clark and Virgie Dudy Gillispie. He graduated from high school in Iowa Park, Texas and attended Cameron University in Lawton and East Central University in Ada.
He married Marolyn Phillips Douglas on August 22, 2002 in Canton, Texas. Mr. Gillispie was the owner and operator of Pronto Windshield and was also a car salesman. He served in the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Marolyn Douglas Gillispie, of the home; two sons, Bryan Gillispie and David Gillispie, both of Wichita Falls, TX; his step-children, Ashley Hampton and husband Adam, Honolulu, Hawaii and Brett Douglas and wife Talia, McKinney, Texas; a sister, Virginia Gilpin, Wichita Falls, TX; two grandsons, Tanner and Tyler Gillispie; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Gillispie.
