BUD BELL

ALLEN-Graveside services for Jessie "Bud" Welton Bell, 91, Allen, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Allen Cemetery, Bill Jones will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Allen Chapel from noon Monday until service time.

Mr. Bell died Thursday, December 25, 2008 at an Allen nursing home. He was born February 26, 1917 near Allen, Oklahoma to Thomas Ward and Betty Opal Wilson Bell. He attended Round Prairie school.

He married Juna Lee Webb in 1954. She preceded him in death on June 25, 2006. Mr. Bell was a farmer and a roughneck in the oilfield industry until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion and had served in the U. S. Air Force during World War II in England.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Bell, Allen, Bruce Bell, Stonewall, and Steven Lee Bell, Allen; two sisters, Mary Olivo, Allen and Betty Sullivan, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Mary Bell, Tisha Abbe, Brandon Boyd, Dana Deatherage, Lacy Calvert, Kimberly Evans, Marcus Boaz, and William Boaz; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Bell, Robert Bell, Denton Bell and Coy Bell and seven sisters, Nancy Douglas, Kenny Parker, LaVern Denton, Margaret Miller, Lahoma Glover Stokes, Cleo Nolan, and Georgia Yoakum.
