Services for Jesse James Lindsey, Sr., 70, of Sasakwa will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Chickasaw Community Center; Larry Colbert will officiate. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Sasakwa. A wake will be held at the Chickasaw Community Center on Wednesday after 5:00 p.m.
Mr. Lindsey passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home. He was born January 28, 1955, in Ada to Joseph Henry and Elsie Mae Walker Lindsey. He worked in Cultural Resources for the Chickasaw Nation until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Miller; three sons, Jesse Lindsey, Jr., Sequoyah Mahli Lindsey, and Quannah James Lindsey; step-son, Nathan Hisaw; brother, Sonny Lindsey and wife Stacie; three sisters, Virginia Moreland, Wanda Harjo, and Shirley Roberson; grandchildren, Justice Lindsey, Lainey Hisaw, and Nora Hisaw; and great grandchildren, Libby Perry, Princeton Tavio Williams, and Colton Tecumseh.
