Jerry Wayne Warren

Jerry Wayne Warren, 82, of Ada passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. No services are planned at this time.

Born August 24th, 1942 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to James and Ora Bell Warren.

On November 15th, 1991 a loving family in Dallas gave him a new heart. Three months later he returned to work and resumed his life. He loved to trail ride with friends on his beloved horse Pete.

He also loved 50's music and classic cars. He attended many car shows and had many friends he enjoyed.

He was a journeyman lineman and worked 47 years for Peoples Electric Cooperative.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl, 2 daughters, Karyl and Kerry, 4 granddaughters, Sadie, Amanda, Morgann and Krissy, 1 grandson, Gunnar, 4 great grandsons, and 2 great granddaughters. He was an amazing husband, father, and papa.

He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Bret Warren on 1-7-2015. Also, by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

The family asks that you consider being an organ donor as it has made a beautiful life for them. Jerry lived 33 years enjoying his family and friends because of the kindness and generosity of another grieving family.
