Jerry Summers

Graveside services for Jerry Don Summers, 73, formerly of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, at Swan Hill Cemetery; Jerry Wayne Smiley will officiate.

Mr. Summers passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Tulsa.  He was born August 26, 1952, in Clovis, NM to Euvon "Curly" and Mary Ruth Skeen Summers.  Mr. Summers worked for the Ada Evening News for 30 years.

Survivors include her two brothers, Gary Summers of Muskogee and Dan Summers of Ardmore; one sister, Kay Smiley and Jerry Wayne of Portalis, NM; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Summers.
