JERRY SHELTON
ADA-Services for Jerry Don Shelton, 67, Ada, are 12:00 p.m. noon, Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Elder John Moles will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Shelton died Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home. He was born April 10, 1944 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to John Henry and Minola Akin Shelton. He attended Ada schools and also attended East Central University.
He married Elaine Gilliam on July 28, 2005. Mr. Shelton was a welder until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Shelton, of the home; three sisters, Sue Johnson, Bernadine O'Brien and Violet Sliger and her husband Bob, all of Ada; several nieces and nephews; and other family members.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clell Shelton, Ted Shelton, Bob Shelton, and Bill Shelton.
