Jerry Sanders

Services for Jerry Lynn Sanders, 66, of Tupelo will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Tupelo Senior Citizens Center.

Mr. Sanders passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Coalgate Hospital. He was born August 28, 1953 at Coalgate to Sam and Myrtle Thompson Sanders. Jerry grew up in the Tupelo-Stonewall area. He attended Tupelo schools and graduated in 1971. He worked for a short time in the oilfield industry and also on a fencing crew and at Brockway Glass Company in Ada. The last 40 years he worked on the farm and dairy.

Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Sanders, Oklahoma City; three brothers, Jack Sanders and Audie Sanders, both of Tupelo and Glenn Sanders, Galey; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Janie) Sanders, Wanda Sanders of Tupelo and Phyllis Sanders of Galey; four nephews; 16 nieces; an adopted brother, Mark Sanders, Texas; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Alma Daniel, Helen Louise Sanders, Beverly White and his twin sister, Mary Ann Sanders; and a brother, Herbert Sanders.
