ADA-No services are planned at this time for Jerry Chester Russell, 92, Ada. Family and friends may call at Criswell Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Russell died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at a Sulphur hospital. He was born March 4, 1917 at Mannford, Oklahoma to John Ralph and Dorcas Robinson Russell. He graduated from Stringtown High School.
He married Angele Stanczyk. She preceded him in death. Mr. Russell was a welder and co-owner of Spencer Machine Works in Ada. He was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle and a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He served in the U. S. Army with the 45th Division during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Jack Lambeth.
