JERRY YOUNG
ADA-Services for Jerry O'Neal (Jugg) Young, 61, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Centrahoma Baptist Church, Rev. Bob Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Young died Monday, October 31, 2011. He was born October 9, 1950 in Allen, Oklahoma. He was raised by his grandparents, Kelcie and Martha Mae Young and his mother, Bobbie Neal Young Shores. He graduated from Allen High School in 1969 and moved to Ada in 1981 from Allen.
Mr. Young was a welder in the oilfield industry and was also a self-employed landscaper. He served in the U. S. Army for six years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Kelsey Young and his wife Jamie of Ada, and Kyle Young of Fittstown; his grandson, Riley Young, Ada; two half-brothers, Johnny Shores and his wife Mary of Ada, and Billy Shores of Ada; two half-sisters, Patty Beck, Union Valley, and Carole Grigg and her husband Bobby, Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Bearers will be Coy Young, Terri Young, Steve Young, Eldon Branscum, Michael Willis and Doug Smith.
