JERRY JACKSON
ADA-Memorial services for Jerry Ben Jackson, 68, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Byng Abundant Life Tabernacle, Rev. George Carson will officiate.
Mr. Jackson died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born December 24, 1941 at Avery, Texas to Joseph Howard and Josephine Hunter Jackson. He attended school in Alton, California.
He married Eula Mae Jennings on May 18, 1963 at Stonewall, Oklahoma. They were married for 46 years. Mr. Jackson was a pumper and rig operator for American Petrofina and a longtime member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle. He moved to Allen from Tupelo 27 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae Jackson, of the home; one son, J. D. Jackson and wife Shawna, Byng; two daughters, Lana Roppel and husband Paul, Allen and Jaleen Roberts and husband Bill, Valley Center, Kansas; one sister, Geneva Wier, Ada; seven grandchildren, Justin Jackson and wife Melissa, Allen, Cody Jackson and wife Kristin, Stratford, Brandy Ames, Allen, Caden Roberts and Madison Roberts, Valley Center, KS, and Derrick Jackson and Ethan Jackson, Byng ; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Howard Jackson; his mother, Josephine Jackson; three brothers, J. D. Jackson, Gerald Jackson and Jimmy Jackson; and one sister, Wanda Gene Jackson.
