JERRY PEAY
ADA- Services for Jerry D. Peay, 65, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Allen School Auditorium, Revs. Joe Howry and Chad Kaminski will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.
Mr. Peay died Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home. He was born at Ardmore, Oklahoma to E.C. and Freda Watkins Peay. He graduated from Allen High School in 1960, and graduated from East Central University. He was the Co-Owner of the Allen Camper Manufacturing Company in Allen, Oklahoma.
He married Pat Bolin in 1981. Mr. Peay was a former Allen City Council Member, a past President of the Allen Chamber of Commerce, a current board member of Farmers State Bank of Allen and a member of the Ada Lodge #1640 B.P.O.E. He was also a member of the Ada Bass Masters Club and a member of the Bassin Buddies, a charter member and past president of the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association, and a member of the Allen Community Development Authority.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Peay, of the home; a son, David Peay, Allen; step-children, Trina Stark, Ada, Kari Eldred, Ada, Shannon Hooks, Tulsa, and Dusty Bolin, Ada; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Dale Peay and Tommy Peay and his wife Shirley, all of Allen.
Bearers will be Aaron Stark, Brett Wiseman, Levi Byrd, Michael Peay, Doug Peay and Tommy Jean Peay.
Honorary bearers are Johnny Hodges, Gary Jacobs, Virgil Walker, Joe Stephens, Frank Dicus, Joe Shires, Tommy Walters, Ada Bass Masters and Bassin Buddies.
