Jeremy Wallace

Services for Jeremy Wayne Wallace, 42, of Ada will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Chickasaw Community Center, Ada, Brother Tommy Poe will officiate. A Wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Wallace passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 in Seminole County. He was born May 6, 1975 at Pauls Valley to Joe Wayne and Hazel Walker Wallace. He graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central University.

He married Ashley Renee Hart October 25, 2008. Mr. Wallace was a Cultural Instructor for the Cultural Resources for the Chickasaw Nation. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation Dance Troupe, Chikasha Toli and Bok Cito Stickball Teams. Jeremy was a renowned artist, flute maker, traditional drum, and stickball sticks. He won many prestigious awards.

Survivors include his wife Ashley, of the home; a daughter, Nannola Bicey Wallace, of the home; his mother, Rev. Hazel Wallace; two brothers, Jason Wayne Wallace and Jon Wayne Wallace; a sister, Krystal Gayle Bohanon and husband Glenn; and his nieces and nephews, Krysten Rose, Jacob Wallace, Jaxson Bohanon, Kyleigha Bohanon, Kynleigh Bohanon, Jazlyn Hart and Caden Hart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe W. Wallace, and grandparents, Simon and Pauline Walker, and Lemmie and Nora Wallace.

Bearers will be Steve Orr, Rick Miller, Monty Stick, Mike Cully, Johnslyn Levi Hart, Stephen Cully, and Mark Francis. Honorary bearers will be Jason Wayne Wallace, Jon Wayne Wallace, Leereene Frazier, Team members of Chikasha Toli and Bok Cito Stickball, Chickasaw Dance Troupe, Fastpitch softball teams, Oklahoma Flyers, Twisters, Red Storm, and Down and Dirty.
